Talking about the loss of a loved one and the adjustment issues involved can be helpful to you and others who grieve. Because the needs of a family and main caregiver continue after the death of a loved one, hospice care continues throughout the first year of bereavement as grief support.
Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro (HPCG) makes this support available to those served by HPCG as well as anyone in Guilford County and surrounding areas grieving the loss of a loved one.
The Counseling and Education Center (CEC) grief support groups, workshops and programs are made possible through generous donations from individuals who participate in our programs, as well as funding from the United Way of Greater Greensboro.
The professional, licensed staff of the Counseling and Education Center (CEC) of HPCG can provide one-on-one counseling to you or your family members. To schedule an appointment for yourself, please call our CEC at 336.621.5565. Counseling appointments and support groups meet in HPCG’s main building at 2500 Summit Avenue.
Counseling and Education Resource Center
Located on our main HPCG campus at 2500 Summit Avenue, the CEC Resource Center has a lending library of books on coping with loss, grief and life-limiting illness. CEC staff can also recommend book titles and other materials.
