Since 1980 Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro (HPCG) has supported people in Guilford County and surrounding areas. HPCG enables people with life-limiting illnesses to live fully, with comfort and dignity, to the end of life.
While hospice is a comfort-focused philosophy of care, HPCG is also a very real place in Greensboro. We have a beautifully landscaped, eight-acre campus with three buildings located at 2500 Summit Avenue.
Through our interdisciplinary team approach, HPCG offers the following services:
HPCG offers in-home hospice care wherever you call home. We serve patients in their private residences, in assisted-living residences, or in long-term-care facilities. HPCG patients and their families are usually in the midst of a difficult journey.
The word palliate means to make comfortable. Palliative care includes pain and symptom management as well as support for caregivers. Palliative care can help a patient at any stage of a serious illness, even as early as the time of diagnosis.
Kids Path is a unique program for children, teens and their families, facing the challenge of coping with a serious progressive condition. Kids Path’s pediatric home care team offers physical, emotional and spiritual care with a goal of enhancing the quality of life for children and teens, and those who share their lives.
