Mother and Daughter Team-Up for Ninth Annual Corks for Kids Path
(GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA)– Last March, Corks for Kids Path brought more than 600 people together and raised a record $115,845 (gross). Eager to build on that success, mother-daughter team Luck Davidson and Charlotte Davidson Quinn are hard at work on the next Corks for Kids Path.
“Charlotte and I are very excited to be co-chairing Corks for Kids Path in 2016,” said Davidson, who serves as executive director of Triad Local First. “We have big shoes to fill, but I’m confident this year will be a great success like the others.” “We are really energized by our team, we want to acquire awesome swings for children this time ” said Quinn, a Realtor® at Tyler Redhead & McAlister Real Estate. “Everyone has such a heart for Kids Path, and it shows in their willingness to work tirelessly to create this special event.” “I was surprised to learn that this vital community resource is so vulnerable,” said Davidson.
“When I learned that Kids Path relies on public support for 75 percent of its operating budget, I knew I had to help make sure it continues to meet the unique needs of these special children!” Davidson said she was especially pleased to see so many local businesses like Zeto Wine & Cheese Shop involved in the success of Corks for Kids Path. “Engaging local businesses in events like this works to strengthen the local economy and builds a vibrant, unique community,” she said.
The Ninth Annual Corks for Kids Path will take place on Friday, March 4, 2016, at the Empire Room in downtown Greensboro. “We are super excited to build on the wonderful history of Corks,” said Quinn. “I am confident it will continue to raise awareness and funds for Kids Path.

HPCG, a nonprofit organization serving Guilford County and surrounding areas since 1980, is situated on a 14.75 acre campus at 2500 Summit Avenue.
