HPCG Elects New Board of Directors and Board of Trustees

(GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA)—Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro (HPCG) proudly announces the election of two new board members. In addition, the Hospice Foundation of Greater Greensboro (HFGG) elected two new trustees. HFGG supports HPCG through sound investment management, fundraising engagement, donor cultivation and stewardship.

HPCG Board of Directors

Dr. Robin Remsburg has been elected to the board of directors at HPCG. She is the dean of the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). Previously, she served as director of the School of Nursing at George Mason University and is a past president of the National Gerontological Nursing Association (NGNA). She holds a B.S.N., an M.S.N. in nursing education and a Ph.D. in nursing research.

Dr. Vanessa Haygood has been elected to the board of directors at HPCG. She is a physician at Central Carolina Obstetrics & Gynecology. She received her B.S. in biology from Stanford University and her M.D. from Harvard University. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Duke University. Haygood is a long-time supporter of HPCG and its Kids Path program.

HFGG Board of Trustees

Justin Outling has been elected to the board of trustees at HFGG. He is an attorney with Brooks, Pierce, Humphrey & Leonard, LLP focusing on business and health care litigation. He is also a member of the Greensboro City Council, representing District Three. Outling holds a J.D. from Duke University and a B.A. from UNCG.

Gail LeBauer has been elected to the board of trustees at HFGG. She is a psychiatric nurse practitioner at LeBauer Behavioral Medicine. She has held many leadership roles in the community, including the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro, the North Carolina School of the Arts and the Greensboro Jewish Federation. She earned her nursing degree from Duke University.
