Holiday Cheer Program
Is your group looking for a holiday season project to help others?
Please consider adopting a family in need through our Holiday Cheer Program.
The Holiday Cheer Program helps patients and families who have limited financial resources and support. Recipients are patients and families of Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro (HPCG) and of Kids Path, a program supporting medically fragile and grieving children.
How Your Group Can Help:
Your family, church, business, school, scout troop or other community group can support the Holiday Cheer Program in any of the following ways:
- Purchase and wrap gifts for a family in need. Your group adopts a family and will receive a family wish list (reviewed by the social worker) no later than Thanksgiving. Please bring wrapped gifts to the Kids Path building during the second or third week of December. If you cannot wrap the gifts, our volunteers can wrap them for you. Because many of the patients and families have compromised immune systems, all donated items must be new.
- Purchase gift cards (Wal-Mart, Target, grocery stores or gas stations) for families to use at the holidays and throughout the year.
- Provide unbudgeted, needed supplies for Kids Path to use throughout the year (a Kids Path Wish List will be provided).
- Make donations earmarked for the Holiday Cheer Program. Click here to donate to Holiday Cheer
